Corpus Link Area Summer School (CLASS)
- What is CLASS?

- CLASS is an opportunity for students from all of our Area Links schools to attend a short residential hosted in College.
- Lasts for 2 days and 2 nights and is the Tuesday and Wednesday before the University of Cambridge Open Days (first week of July).
- Combination of super-curricular activities and Cambridge admissions workshops.
- A chance to experience what undergraduate life at Cambridge and Corpus might be like.
- Who can attend?

- Students who are involved in the Belfast HE+ programme
- Students who live and attend a state-school in Islington, Northern Ireland, or West Berkshire.
- If oversubscribed we assign places based on widening-participation criteria.
- There is no reserve list for students from outside our Area Links schools.
- Do school staff have to attend?

- We encourage school staff to attend if there are four or more students from the same school attending.
- There are specific teacher and staff only sessions.
- It is a chance to meet different teachers and staff and exchange best practice.
- How much does it cost?

- All travel, accommodation, and food costs are covered for students involved in the Belfast HE+ programme.
- For all other students accommodation and food costs are covered but travel to and from Cambridge is not.
- For students who are, or have been eligible for, Free School Meals there is a bursary available to contribute to the costs of travel.
- How do I apply for it?

- There is no direct application form. All nominations happen via a teacher at your school.
- Schools are notified before the Easter holidays about dates and the number places available.
