General Maintenance/Handyperson
Corpus Christi is recruiting a Head of Finance to deliver effective financial planning, monitoring and reporting to enhance the decision-making process of the College. You will ensure the College, its subsidiary companies and Trusts comply with all statutory and external requirements and regulations efficiently and effectively. Reporting to the Bursar (the most senior member of non-academic staff, with overall responsibility for the College's finances) you will work closely and collaboratively with them on developing the College's financial strategy. You will lead the College's Finance Department, coaching and developing your team to ensure they deliver a high-quality service to all stakeholders.
A qualified professional accountant, you must have a track record of relevant experience and be able to demonstrate first-rate technical knowledge. You will have excellent leadership and management skills and the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders within the culture of the community. Experience in the higher education and/or charity sector is welcome, but not essential.

Corpus Christi College is seeking to appoint Tutorial Office Manager. The post-holder will support the Senior Tutor and the Deputy Senior Tutor in all their administrative duties. They are responsible for the smooth running of the Tutorial Office and its timely completion of tasks throughout the year, and for the line-management of the tutorial office staff. They assist the Senior Tutor and the Deputy Senior Tutor on implementing updates and improvements to policy in the Tutorial Office. They have oversight of all matters managed by the Tutorial Office.
Applicants must have a BA degree or equivalent, relevant experience in a higher education environment and in a College tutorial office.
Excellent organisational skills, forward planning and prioritisation are essential, together with ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines, excellent written and verbal communication, accuracy and attention to detail, and a calm, methodical approach. Good personnel management skills and the ability to work flexibly at times of high workload are also essential.

Applicants must have A-levels or equivalent, relevant experience in an administrative environment and knowledge of the structure and systems of UK higher education, secondary schools and colleges.
The ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines is essential, along with excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and a calm, methodical approach. The use of spreadsheets, online databases and a variety of software is central to the work of the admissions office, so strong IT skills or the ability to learn quickly are essential.

Corpus Christi is recruiting a College Electrician to join their in-house maintenance team. The Electrician is expected to mentor the apprentice electrician who is currently in their second year of a 4-year apprenticeship.
Candidates should be experienced, qualified and working to 18th edition standards for maintenance, installation, testing and certification. In addition, candidates should be able to work as part of a team, be physically fit and able to work at heights, and have demonstrable experience of having a positive attitude towards health and safety.
