Head of IT and Business Services 

In an exciting new joint initiative, Corpus Christi College and St Catharine’s College are seeking to appoint an outstanding individual as their first Head of IT and Business Services.

This new post offers the opportunity to shape, develop and direct investment in transforming IT and business services across the two colleges. The role will be pivotal in delivering our shared objective to enhance digital transformation, and increase IT resilience and security across our operations to enhance the Colleges’ business processes.

You will be able to demonstrate a clear vision of how digital services and state of the art IT can support each of our college’s digital transformation, including identifying opportunities for sharing resources and best practice.

You will have experience of leading IT and digital change projects and take a user centric approach to service design and delivery. You will be an experienced leader and influencer able to work cohesively across all departments within our colleges and relish the challenge of delivering innovative IT services for a diverse range of needs in a complex and engaging environment.

Butlers Assistant (Permanent and Contracted Part-time Positions)

The College has an exciting opportunity for enthusiastic and experienced Butler’s Assistants to join the Catering Team. We have full time positions available as well as 20 hour, fixed roster Monday to Friday 11:00 – 15:00.  We are additionally open to discussing flexible working for the right candidate.

These are hand on roles and an integral part of ensuring Corpus is a leader in the Hospitality sector and provides outstanding service to all members of the College community and external dinner, conference and summer school guests.  

With demonstrable skills to deliver a first class front of house service to ensure total customer satisfaction, the successful candidates will be professional and commercially aware, with the presence and personality to influence the day-to-day business. The roles will require leading by example and setting high standards to exceed customers’ expectations.

The successful candidates will have previous relevant experience, possess knowledge of current food trends, and have great organisational and observational skills, experienced in banqueting/restaurants/buffet service.

Demi Chef de Partie (Full-time and Full-time Maternity Cover)

The College has an opportunity for a Demi Chef de Partie to join our dedicated and passionate team.  You will assist the Executive Chef in the development, preparation and service of all desserts, breads and sweet treats within the College, ensuring the highest standards are maintained in order for us to continue to surprise and delight our customers.

The College is looking for someone with a knowledge of modern techniques, enthusiasm, and passion, experienced in hotel, restaurant or contract catering environment. Further opportunities exist to train and develop skills to become a more all rounded chef.  You must be an efficient and organised worker with excellent attention to detail and someone who takes a great pride in their work and in keeping a tidy section.

These are full-time positions working  37.5 hours per week working 5 days out of 7 Monday to Sunday on a rota basis in straight shifts, with days and start times varying according to your shifts.

Chef De Partie

The College has an opportunity for a Chef de Partie to join its ambitious kitchen team.  You will assist the Executive Head Chef in delivering a wide variety of Catering in many different settings.  Whether you are cooking for student Cafeteria or a Masters Dinner, the expectation is flawless catering utilising both humble and exceptional ingredients.  As Chef de Partie you will be a key player in a passionate brigade, where your own food passion and interests can be nurtured and developed. 

The successful applicant must possess knowledge of modern techniques, current food trends and the experience appropriate for a kitchen that prepares from scratch. The post holder must have a strong understanding of Food Hygiene, Allergen Awareness and Health and Safety.
