The Queen has been pleased to approve the appointment of Mr Nicholas Lavender QC to be a Justice of the High Court with effect from 3 October 2016.  The Lord Chief Justice will assign Mr Nicholas Lavender to the Queen’s Bench Division.

Nicholas Lavender, aged 51, will be known as The Honourable Mr Justice Lavender. He was called to the Bar in 1989 and took Silk in 2008.  He was appointed as a Recorder in 2010 and a Deputy High Court Judge in 2013.
