Professor Paul Kattuman

Dr. Paul Kattuman is Professor in Economics at Cambridge Judge Business School. Originally from Kerala, India, he was an economist in the Indian Civil Services before beginning his PhD in Economics at Cambridge. He lectured at Durham University and was appointed Senior Research Fellow at the Department of Applied Economics at Cambridge, prior to joining Judge Business School, and being elected a Fellow of Corpus. Paul has held visiting professorships at Universidad Complutense de Madrid  and Université Paris 12, and was a visiting faculty scholar at the Kennedy School of Government, and at the Department of Statistics at Harvard.

His research interests center on applied Econometrics. Since the beginning of the pandemic he has worked  with Public Health England East of England, NHS Improvement East of England, and the Ministry of Health of the Government of Kerala, contributing statistical analysis to support health care policy. He is the Director of Studies for Management Studies and supervises Econometrics papers for the Economics Tripos.
