We understand wedding planning can seem daunting but we are here to help! Read on to see the most common questions that we have been asked by brides and grooms...

Qs: What is minimum guest numbers?

A: We kindly ask for a minimum of 80 guests for a Friday or Saturday evening booking. 

Qs: How long would you recommend for a drinks reception?

A: We recommend a drinks reception to last no longer than 1 hour, there is plenty of time to catch up with all of your guests throughout the day and we find any longer than an hour people can get peckish! If you want longer than one hour, however, we recommend some canapes.

Qs: Can we hire the bar during our wedding breakfast as well as in the evening?

A: Within our wedding package, the bar is yours for the evening celebrations until midnight. This can be extended to 1am for an additional charge. We do not have the bar open during your drinks reception and wedding breakfast.  Additionally you can use the bar for DJs and bands with a dance floor.

Qs: Can we decorate the bar and come in early and bring in a DJ/iPod/band?

A: Yes the bar is available for you to come in earlier and decorate and your DJ/band can also come in earlier to set up too.

Qs: Can we decorate the dining hall?

A: The dining hall cannot be decorated. If you had some ideas about simple table decorations we would be more than happy to discuss this.

Qs: What cocktail can we choose from for our arrival drink?

A: We are flexible to provide a drink based around prosecco or champagne.

Qs: How much is the initial deposit and how do we pay the full amount?

A: Once minimum guest numbers and the date have been approved we kindly ask for a 10% deposit to confirm your booking. Afterwards payment installments can be discussed and arranged to suit you.

Qs: Can we book accommodation for all of our guests?

A: Subject to availability we can offer a limited number of bedrooms. But if we do not have enough we can recommend alternative trusted venues.

Qs: What does wedding stationary include?:

A: Menu cards, place cards, seating plan and signage with the College branding. Unfortunately, we can not personalise these.
