Oliver Rackham Society Annual Lecture and Dinner

The Oliver Rackham Society is very excited to announce the return of its annual lecture and dinner on Saturday 20 April. 

Programme

17:30 – The Oliver Rackham Society Annual Lecture will be delivered by Corpus alumna Professor Amanda Vincent, a former PhD student at Corpus. Amanda's career has been focussed on ocean conservation, with a particular interest in seahorses, being the first to document the extensive trade in these fishes and the first to initiate a seahorse conservation project being a co-founder of Project Seahorse, a leader in marine conservation. In 2023, Amanda was awarded the Dawkins Prize for Conservation and Animal Welfare from Balliol College, University of Oxford in recognition of her achievements. 

18:45 – Drinks reception in the OCR

19:30 – Dinner in Hall

The dress code is black tie/evening attire; no gowns to be worn. 

Bookings will close on Friday 5 April 2023. 

Attendance at this event is by invitation only, although invited Corpuscles may bring a guest.
