Booking for this event is now open
All members of the Lewis Society of Medicine, past and present, are warmly invited to this year's Archibald Clark-Kennedy Lecture and Annual Dinner at Corpus Christi College on Saturday 7 February 2026.
Our Speaker
We are delighted that Corpus alumnus Dr Nathaniel Segaren, MB BChir, MRCPCH, MA, MPH, MBA (m.1996) will giving this year's Archibald Clark-Kennedy Lecture.
Dr Segaren matriculated in 1996 and stayed on at Addenbrookes to complete his medical degree. He undertook Paediatric training at Guys and St.Thomas’ Hospitals. In 2006 he was awarded a Fulbright Scholarship to attend the Johns Hopkins School of Public Health where he graduated with a Masters of Public Health and an MBA. After working at the World Bank HQ in Washington D.C, he joined The Caris Foundation International, where he is the Medical Director.
Together with his wife Tessa, they grew the team from 2 to 750 full time staff. They were awarded over 150 Million USD of donor funds for country wide projects supporting Maternal/Child Health, HIV and Tuberculosis, Immunization, Malnutrition and Community Health. He directed the Caris response to earthquakes, hurricanes and severe insecurity. Project Santé, the largest international investment in Haiti, was headed by Dr Segaren, and provided healthcare to over 4 million people. He has also initiated Caris activities in Cambodia, where in partnership with the Government the team is screening the vision of every secondary school student in the country.
