500 Years of Cambridge Spies

Before "On the Brink", at 2.00 pm on Friday 16 October in the McCrum Lecture Theatre, Professor Christopher Andrew will give an illustrated powerpoint presentation on “500 YEARS OF CAMBRIDGE SPIES” “Spies are a Cambridge tradition. We've produced more of them than any other British university. Unlike other universities, some of our best spies have worked for opposing intelligence services (notably the KGB) as well as for our own side. Recent research at Cambridge has uncovered many of their secrets, including the role of two important Corpus 20th century spies. One was a key figure in MI6; the other worked for the KGB. Both will feature in my presentation.”  To book a place please contact Jane Martin at development@corpus.cam.ac.uk.  There is limited capacity so please let us know if you would like to attend.
