160 academic prizes awarded at Corpus

Each year our Senior Tutor, Dr Marina Frasca-Spada recommends to the Governing Body to award of a number of named prizes to recognise academic performance. This year we were thrilled to award £24,700 to our students. These awards are made possible thanks to alumni who have made donations to recognise academic excellence, and who have, over the centuries, laid down in perpetuity funds to allow the College to award these prizes every year.

Prizes are available for all subjects, and this year 160 awards were made across our undergraduate and postgraduate student body. These included five Foundation Scholarships for our highest-achieving undergraduates, and two Bishop Green Cups, one for the best overall Tripos performance and one for the best examination results. The amount awarded varies from £100 - £500 for a Foundation Scholarship.

More than the amount awarded, it is the prestige of being selected that students value so highly. Many congratulations to all our winners, and many thanks to all those whose support makes these awards possible!
