The College Archives contain a rich collection of material dating back to its foundation in 1352 covering its activities, members, buildings, land holdings and livings. There is one part-time College Archivist, Dr Lucy Hughes ( firstname.lastname@example.org ).
The ancient archives are catalogued as part of the Janus project.
Digitised images are available from the nature notebooks of the late Professor Oliver Rackham.
Transcriptions of documents in either the Ancient or Modern Archive can (depending on suitability) be commissioned and provided by the Archivist at a rate of £7.50 per hour of work, with a minimum charge of £15.
For all queries concerning images from Parker Library manuscripts, please contact the Librarians at email@example.com.
However, if the images required are of archival documents, please contact the Archivist Lucy Hughes.
Transcriptions of the college's early 'Chapter Books' (vol. 1: 1569-c. 1626; vol. 2: 1632-1708; vol. 3: 1709-1752) can be downloaded from the links on the right.
Also available to download is a dissertation by Dr Hughes about Shared Vocabulary and Shared Practice in the Domains of Rare Books Custodianship and Archives.
