It has long been a great ambition of Corpus Christi College to make the Parker Library financially self-sufficient, ensuring that this precious Library not only survives, but also flourishes.

The primary object of the Friends of the Parker Library is to raise money to secure the future of the Library. It is also intended as a focus for the delight and enjoyment of early books and manuscripts, welcoming bibliophiles into the companionship of a medieval Cambridge College.

To become a member involves an annual subscription. In return, the Parker Library offers facilites and benefits at the highest level, tailored to the individual interests of its Friends.

There will be private seminars and courses on manuscript production, invitations to festive Library dinners and annual visits to this and other libraries under the guidance of Dr Christopher de Hamel, the Donnelley Fellow Librarian.
