Post and Addresses

You can have post sent to you either at college or where you actually live. If you fancy the latter option and you live in Leckhampton House or the GTB you should have it sent to Leckhampton House, where you can pick it up from the post table near the front door. Residents of the other houses can have things sent straight there.

That said, unless you find it very inconvenient to go down to college it's probably better to have your post delivered there. That way you don't have to give people a new address every time you move rooms, and if you receive a parcel the porters will keep it at the plodge and leave a note in your pigeonhole telling you to get it. (Do get things promptly: they have been known to send stuff back after a week or so.) The porters also deal with things like forwarding your post when you leave or are away, filtering out obvious junk mail, and wearing ties that make them look as if they're in a barbershop quartet.
