Library

Located underneath the GTB, the library is conventionally described as that of a country house, and has a diverse collection of fiction and non-fiction which you may take out at your leisure by signing the book provided. It's also a nice place to work; sitting looking out over the lawns you can pretend that you're master of all you survey, especially if there are pheasants wandering past, as there sometimes are. If you have any suggestions about what the college should spend its (actually not inconsiderable) book budget on, get hold of our woman with the rubber stamp, Jean Rumball (jr340), who may well take you up on your ideas.

If you find that the room is feeling a bit cold (with its many windows) ask Michael Martin for a heater.
