Leckhampton House is the focal point of the community at Corpus, providing a flock of facilities for both social and study related activities.
For those not privileged to have their own departmental lab or office, Leckhampton House provides an exemplary space to conduct research and study. This is particularly so for the many humanities students who prefer to seperate their study space from their living space (their rooms).
Leckhampton House provides a wealth of facilites, with the most important being the vast amount of desk space provided by the tables in the Hales room. Leckhampton House also has wireless access.
In addition, Leckhampton House contains wonderful facilities for rest bites in between study periods. The 'beer fridge' system means you can help yourself to drinks and snacks in the tv room. Daily newspapers and periodicals are also available in the bar, with the couches in the TV room providing an excellent reading space. Of course the TV room also has Sky, as well as a DVD and video player. At night, the bar is also open, serving food and drink- perfect for the required sustenance for intensive study periods.
The idea and hope is that Leckhampton House is used as not only an active social facility at night, but for the rest of the time exists as a lively communal study area for students of all disciplines, where the cross-referencing and exchange of ideas across fields is a common and inspiring occurrence.
Leckhampton House contains the Warden's meeting room, which may be used for supervisions upon arrangement with the Warden of Leckhampton. The Stephen Hales Room and the MCR during the day also provide exemplary environments to conduct supervisions.
It's adjacent to the bar, and contains large tables, and you guessed it, a portrait of Stephen Hales.
No prizes for guessing what's in here. In terms of details, the TV has Sky, and there's also a DVD and video player provided. With large couches and scenic windows, the TV room is also an excellent reading room. The TV room also play host to Sunday tea every week.

There is a mail table adjacent to the stairs, where mail which you've requested to be sent to Leckhampton is left. There is also a useful bulletin board.
