Female Welfare Officer

Hi,

As female welfare officer, I'm responsible for women's issues and the general welfare of the Leckhampton graduate community. I am the link between the MCR and the College tutorial system. I am available for informal, confidential chats about issues concerning you or your friends. If you want some more specific advice on an issue, I can point you in the direction of University run services such as counselling services, peer support and healthcare services.

The best way to contact me is via email or a note in my pidgeonhole. I always aim for a speedy reply!

The welfare officers can provide certain items:

Safe sex is best

If you require condoms, you can get some by notifying me by email on this address and I can put them on the post table in Leckhampton for you or in your pigeon hole; please specify which in your initial request. If you would rather this be anonymous, pop a letter in my pigde and I will leave some in an envelope in my pidge for you to collect.

Pregnancy Tests

These are free and you can request them in the same way as condoms or get them from the welfare basket in the Leckhampton disabled bathroom. You can also get tested for free at your GP, or buy tests at any pharmacist.

Chlamydia tests

These are no longer provided by CUSU. The best place to get this is online http://freetest.me.uk/ or at your GP's office.
