Buying contraception

PASANTE CONDOMS AND LUBE ARE NOW FREE, YAY!

But if you want other things…

The JCR Welfare Officers purchase contraception from CUSU to sell on to Corpus students at a much cheaper price than it is available in the shops. Items for sale include:

  • 144 × Durex elite condoms — £12.50,
  • 3 × Pasante non-latex condoms — £1.80,
  • 12 × Pasante large condoms — £2,
  • 12 × Pasante trim condoms — £2,
  • 1 × Femidom — 80p,
  • 1 × Dental dam — 80p,
  • 1 × Non-latex dental dam — £1.20,
  • 1 × Personal attack alarm — £2,
  • 1 × Chlamydia test — FREE,
  • 1 × Pregnancy test — FREE.

If you would like to buy any of these items, please fill in an order form from the Male or Female Welfare Officer’s pigeonholes in the Post Room and then put it back into the pigeonhole in one of the envelopes provided, along with the money. The Welfare Officers will get the products to you as quickly as possible via a completely inconspicuous “University of Cambridge” envelope in your own pigeonhole.

Alternatively, if there aren’t any in the Welfare Officer’s pigeonholes, you can download an order form.

If you would rather not buy these items from the Welfare Officers, you can purchase them directly from the CUSU Office’s reception desk in the New Museums Site.

Pregnancy tests are always available free of charge from the Female Welfare Officer’s pigeonhole. Please feel free to take one if you need it.

Condom Machine

There is a FREE condom dispenser in the JCR toilets to complement the condom machine.

The Welfare Officers are also responsible for running the condom machine in the Old Court toilet block. This machine stocks:

  • 3 × Pasante regular condoms — £1,
  • 2 × Tampons — £1.

If you encounter any problems with the condom machine, please contact the JCR Welfare Officers.
