Through various benefactions over the years, the College is able to offer grants to graduate students to contribute towards research expenses, e.g. for attendance at conferences or for fieldwork essential to their research.

If you would like to apply as a PhD student, please click on the Research Fund section of Moodle. You also need to ask your supervisor to send an email supporting your application to your Graduate Tutor (copying in the Tutorial Office). Please also use the application form to list all other sources of funding to which you have applied.

If you are a Master's student, please contact the Tutorial Office, briefly stating what you will need the grant for (e.g. conference, research trip).

PhD students may apply more than once to the research fund.
