How to Find Us

Visiting the College

The main entrance to Corpus Christi College is on Trumpington Street in Cambridge City Centre. All visitors to the College should report first to the Porters' Lodge. The telephone number for the Porters' Lodge is 01223 338000.

During the summer months, the College is open to visitors between 10.30 and 16.30 (with a possible short closure during the lunch hour). A custodian is located in a kiosk outside the Porters' Lodge at the main entrance. Admission for guests over 18 is £5 per person. Those with CAM cards may enter with up to two guests for free.

During this period, the Parker Library is also open to visitors from Wednesday to Saturday for an additional £5.

Leckhampton is on Grange Road, across from the front entrance to Selwyn College.

The easiest way to get around Cambridge is on foot or by bicycle. The Cambridge Cycling Campaign has information on cycling for visitors as does the You-Well website

Arriving by Road

From the M11, take either Junction 11 (Hauxton Road/A1309) or 12 (Barton Road/A603) and follow into Cambridge City Centre. Parking is not available at Corpus (except for loading and unloading and other special circumstances). For more information on parking see the Cambridge City Council site; the closest car park is the Grand Arcade carpark and there is time-limited parking along Queen's Road. There are maps posted around the city which will help you find your way back to the College once you park.

There are five Park and Ride sites around Cambridge with buses to the city centre; the closest to Corpus are Trumpington Road and Madingley Road.

Arriving by Bus

National Express coaches usually stop on Parkside, next to Parker’s Piece in the city centre. The Stagecoach X5/905 service links Cambridge and Oxford via Bedford, Milton Keynes, Buckingham and Bicester.

Local services usually run to/from Cambridge bus station in Drummer Street, and/or the adjacent Emmanuel Street and St Andrew’s Street. There are also buses from the railway stations to the city centre.

The 'U' / Universal bus service runs from Eddington, next to the Madingley Road Park and Ride site, through to our Biomedical Campus from Monday to Saturday, and from Eddington to Cambridge Railway Station on Sundays.

Arriving by Train

Cambridge is well connected by train and the main station is located about one mile from the city centre (around 20 minutes on foot) and the Cambridge North Station (around 20 minutes by bicycle) There’s a taxi rank outside the station and buses run frequently between the station and city centre (to/from Emmanuel Street/St Andrew's Street). The Universal bus service route also picks up/sets down at the Cambridge train station.

Arriving by Air

There is a regular bus service to and from Stansted, Luton, Heathrow and Gatwick airports. Direct train service is also available from Stansted and Gatwick.
