Corpus strengthens links to Hong Kong

On a recent trip to Asia, Corpus Admissions Tutor Dr Michael Sutherland and Director of Development & Alumni Relations Rachel Lawson visited schools and alumni in Hong Kong.

Dr Sutherland met with students and teachers to showcase the many benefits of studying at Cambridge as an international student, and to advise on how to make a competitive application to UK universities. He also raised awareness of funding opportunities for international students, such as the Corpus Hong Kong Link Scholarship.

During the trip, Rachel and Michael hosted an alumni dinner, during which the global Corpus community was celebrated and future avenues for expanding links with Hong Kong were explored.

Students from Hong Kong are among the largest international student cohorts in the University of Cambridge, usually between 80 and 100 undergraduates are admitted each year.

At Corpus we have a decades long tradition of admitting Hong Kong students in subjects ranging from Law to Mathematics.
