YEAR 12 ESSAY COMPETITIONS 2016-17

For over a decade, Corpus Christi has run subject-based essay competitions which aim to give students the chance to research, think and write about topics that are incorporated into challenging questions by Cambridge academics. As a result of this we hope to encourage academically able students from all backgrounds to consider applying to Cambridge.

We are pleased to announce that the 2016-17 Essay Competitions are now open to all UK students in Year 12 (Lower Sixth) or equivalent. A maximum of two entries per school or college is invited in each of our competitions, which focus this year on History, English and Economics. All entries must be accompanied by an Essay Cover Sheet. The deadline for receipt of entries is 5 pm on Friday 17 February 2017.

A pot of £500, including a First Prize of £300, is available for each competition. Prize-winners and other highly commended entrants will be notified by email in April 2017 and invited to a lunch at Corpus Christi on Saturday 6 May 2017.

To enter, please complete the registration form and the Essay Cover Sheet on the Essay Competitions Entry page.
