Journals The Taylor Library has a small collection of print journals and periodicals located on the ground floor. In addition to these and the library's book collection, a multitude of other resources are available from the University Library and other libraries across Cambridge. Ejournals Ejournals are journals, serials and periodicals which can be accessed electronically. The University subscribes to a comprehensive number of ejournals, all searchable via LibrarySearch, or the ejournals portal. Ejournals can be searched for by title, subject, ISSN or citation. For further information see the ejournals help page. To access ejournals, users must authenticate their status as University members. In most cases, users accessing resources from a Campus based computer will not require authentication, although some will require login with a Raven user-id and password. When outside of the University, login through either the Shibboleth login or the Institutional or Alternative login, with your raven user-id and password. Ebooks An ebook is a searchable full text electronic version of a print book. You can use an ebook for quick reference, to read a chapter or the whole book. The University's ebooks@cambridge initiative provides access to over 1,000 texts, selected from reading lists, most borrowed books lists and recommendations from librarians, staff and students. Ebooks can be found through LibrarySearch or via individual suppliers websites, and accessed with a Raven user-id and password. An RSS feed of new ebooks is also available. Library toolbox There are a number of tools available that enable users to access library services from wherever is most convenient.
